# Risk Overview

Frames the market, integration, technical, economic, and regulatory dependencies that shape validation of GetPaid’s proposed protocol model.

GetPaid is a design-stage protocol. Its viability depends on both protocol execution and external ecosystem conditions.

```
Launchpad adoption and chain activity
                ↓
External integrations and routed fee flow
                ↓
GetPaid validation
                ↓
Technical, economic, and operational execution
```

### Risk framework

| Category               | Dependency                                                          |
| ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Market and integration | Launchpad adoption and Robinhood Chain activity. |
| Technical execution | Multi-chain delivery and social identity verification. |
| Economic design | Token utility and the proposed fee model. |
| Competitive landscape | External launchpads may retain or develop fee-routing capabilities. |
| Operating environment | Regulatory conditions affecting creator payouts and fee routing. |

Growth depends on integrations with external launchpads and ecosystems. Those decisions sit outside GetPaid's direct control.

The token and economic model also remain design-stage concepts. They carry execution and adoption uncertainty until implementation and real-world validation.

The following pages detail the identified risks and the criteria used to evaluate whether the thesis should continue, change direction, pause, or retire.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://whitepaper.getpaid.family/risks-and-invalidation/risk-overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
